Next generation mobile analytics aims to achieve its goal through 3 themes - easy, augmented, and actionable.

Since we launched the true mobile analytics in the market, we have been getting incredibly positive feedback - countless awards winning, patent files , and presentations in conferences etc. However at the same time there have been some gaps we need to close as we grow. While creating vision we wanted to address those issues. We put together all the feedback from multiple channels (usability tests, community, in-app survey, customer site visits etc) to understand where the pain points, and their needs, wants are coming from.
In addition, in order to stay as a leader in the market, we have ambitious vision that analytic tools should be even easier for business users, intelligently augmented in their workflow, and guide and help them to make a smarter decisions.
Finally, as a part AI(Einstein) platform, we make sure it is highly flexible but tightly augmented into the workflow so analysts and designers can embed the analytics and create seamless experience in the Salesforce ecosystem.

Vision Prototypes: End to end flows illustrating the rich home experiences, easy data explorations and actionable insights coming from smart data discovery.














Analytics Home: We created this concept of curated app experience that users can create their own personalized home by customizing apps. Users can also access popular apps, dashboards, charts in their orgs, teams.

Key Metrics Card: One of the ways we explores to make Home highly sticky is having KPIs in the card formats that users can always play with on their needs. In addition, this can be part of their goals (team or personal goals), notifications, and iOS widgets so they can track and share it with other team members without effort.

Intelligent & Smart Data Discovery: Infuse AI-powered insights and recommendations contextually and let users take actions as they needed.

Smart Chart Exploration: Data exploration through easy to understand labels for the chart is a huge part of the improvement for data discovery. Previously used ‘Group’ and ‘Measure’ are updated with more plain words such as X-axis and Y-axis. Finally chart type recommendations based on the data enables users answers their questions quickly and find the insights easily.

Embedded & Contextual Actions: Integrate rich visualizations where it helps. Have the constant feedback loop to understand users. Provide insights with recommended actions to improve the results and get the best outcome. Lastly, make the app work seamlessly in the Salesforce ecosystem especially within mobile portfolio.
